About Our Content
At Snorkelology, we aim to provide the most comprehensive map for the snorkelling community. To achieve this, many of our snorkelling organisation descriptions are generated using artificial intelligence (AI). This allows us to scale our map quickly and provide helpful details that might otherwise be unavailable.
While we do not manually review every AI-generated entry, we conduct regular quality audits on a representative sample of our data. This helps us refine the models we use to ensure the content meets our standards for accuracy.
AI-generated content is clearly signposted where it is used with an "About this content" link. Descriptions that have been written or fully verified by our team do not carry this label.
